Yoka is a visual storyteller, always finding ‘new’ narratives in everyday life. What she is doing is about transforming, collaborating, rearranging and manipulating ordinary objects into unfamiliar and unveiling new forms. She enjoys making connections among the objects and people surrounding her. To her, it is a means of discovery in which she navigates and interprets the world and herself.
